Chicano Park Day 2018

Since 1970, San Diego's Chicano Park in the Logan Heights community has been a place of annual gathering to honor the struggles and achievements of Chicanos. Through brilliant displays of traditional Aztec dance and music, food vendors serving mouth watering tacos and other finger foods, and product vendors as far as the eye can see, the community gathers for celebration.

Each year the classic car show, organized by Amigos Car Club, grows with new builds joining the lowrider community and local car clubs. This year's show overflowed into neighboring streets where lowriders and bombs parked down center lanes for spectators to view from all angles. Chicano Park's annual celebration and car show has forged ties in the community, strengthening kindness and compassion between neighbors and local businesses. A testament and representation of the care, dedication, and honor SoCal Chicanos have for their classic cars and community.
